The Fundación General UGR-Empresa presented the Global-Spin Project at the 2018 Edition of the International Conference on Future Learning and Education Technology Management, a conference that joins people together from around the world. This year the event was held from the 19th to the 21st of December in Barcelona, Spain.
The purpose of the event was to enhance communication among professionals that are working towards developing four key areas: Basic Teaching and Methods; Classroom Learning and Learning Methods; Education and Management Technology; Career Development and Innovative Technology.
Within this scope, the Global-Spin Project was used as an example for how innovative methodologies can be used to improve corporate training. As such, the Project promotes a change from training—top-down instruction with a professional telling participants what to do—to learning—a bottom-up way of encouraging each member of staff to engage with the materials in the way that makes most sense to them. In this way, we can see how Global-Spin is able to change the way that we look at instruction within corporations and will hopefully be able to impact training results in the future.
The Global-Spin leaflets were disseminated between the participants that showed interest in the training platform for internationalization as well as in other results of the project. As the pilot session is currently being carried out, they were also offered spots to join the testing of the platform and asked to sign the manifest if they identified with the message being shared.
