The Global-Spin Final Conference “Global Spin: A new approach to corporate learning” (see the Programme bellow) will be held online on Friday 22nd February 2019 at 10:30 am CET through Adobe Connect platform. The Conference is part of the European project Global-Spin: Transnational Entrepreneurship and Corporate Learning: Fostering Effective Internationalization Strategies in Academic Spin Offs, implemented with the support of Erasmus+ - KA2 Knowledge Alliances Programme of the European Union. The project started in January 2016 and will conclude at March, 31 2019.
During the conference, we will count on the participation of key experts on research, development and innovation domains, such as, Chris Saywell, Director and Scientist at PDR FLOW Ltd., research and testing of plastic products (Sheffield, United Kindom), Borja Torres, CEO de Xtrem Biotech, a technology-based Spin-Off that develops, produces and markets bio stimulants and pesticides of biological origin to offer respectful solutions that are compatible with the environment (Granada, Spain), and the Prof. Sirmakessis, Deputy Dean of Research and Development at the Technological Institution of Western Greece and member of StartUp Europe (University of Patras, Greece).
During the Conference, the main Global-Spin project results will be presented, namely the Corporate Learning Programme, both in its online Tool and the downloadable Handbook on Transnational Entrepreneurship and Effective Internationalization Strategies for Spin Offs. This training programme is aiming to improve the competiveness of European Academic Spin-Offs and Start-ups by supporting them to effectively deal with the challenges faced when internationalising their businesses and the management of Global Talent.
