Being part of the millennial age often means being attracted and moving toward environments rich in opportunities. Today’s young talent  is moving around the globe to find the right experiences, job opportunities, and university courses, to discover new places or find the right city to live in. Their migration trajectories are being constantly followed by social media, businesses, and economists who want to study the new generation of employees and consumers. [1] But, where they should really move to find the right place to be?

Nestpick, apartment search engine, has carried out a study on the World’s top 110 cities for entrepreneurial millennials, based on different factors such as Business Ecosystem, the Essentials Openness, and Recreation. [2]

Curious but not surprising, New York had the highest score for its Startup Ecosystem, followed by San Francisco, Silicon Valley's nest, and London. However, the research offers as well a general overview among millennials dream destinations, where we find Berlin dominating the ranking, followed by Montreal, and London, which places itself again on the podium with a bronze medal. “Millennials grew up in a shrinking world, where the internet opened doors their parents never could have dreamed of, and budget airlines made those avenues real possibilities,” said Ömer Kücükdere, Managing Director of Nestpick. “It’s now possible to live and work anywhere in the world, and these opportunities are shaping how our planet will look to future generations.” [2]
